British Celebrity Writer and Television Show Hostess Peaches Geldof Dies of heroin overdose

husband Thomas Cohen raised the alarm when she did not answer her phone.

Thomas is a musician and was looking after 23-month-old Astala, their eldest son, at the time of the incident. Police detective Fotheringham confirmed that heroin was likely to be the cause of death.

Her mother Paula Yates was a television show presenter. In 2000, she too had succumbed to heroin overdose.
