Morning time is happy time. Most of us like to exercise and keep fit. Mornings make me smile for reasons more than one. Morning is the time I make my travel plans...kidding of course. I plan my daily schedule and take note of my appointments for the day. I feel alive at this time of the day. 

New beginning for you
Use the freshness in the body to the maximum. Our metabolism is designed to work through the night to recreate new cells and help new tissues to grow. Since all this occurs in our sleep, we awake refreshed with new vitality. 

Energy and you
Remember to eat well. Our body requires 2543 calories of energy. This is through food. Food should be balanced with 40% proteins, 30% carbohydrates and 30% fats. In addition, one should also have enough vitamins and minerals since these help in synthesis of enzymes and also in metabolic functions. Many of us rush through our day and then wonder where it went! The simple thing is you plan your time and then you have it for your own. If you do not, you will not have it. Review your time, time your routine and then plan.



Keeping up with time
It is a lot like routine driving – with signals and turnings, braking and highways. When one considers everything, one can see how various factors add up to become one entity. First getting your plan set up is top priority.

Break it up
We could think about time as time we spend, time we work and time we relax. However, going one step beyond, we could see that we need to set it up. Review these three essential steps in your daily routine.
a)  Stop to think
b)  Get set
c)   Break off

Every action has need for reflection – if one needs something done well. This is why one has to think what one is doing as well as spend some time to think the whole thing through, to make a review of how to increase utility factor of our routine. Creating the break for thinking helps one to manage the time, review routine and act better.

Next most important thing is to keep things where they belong. If you are going to spend your time searching for things that you need you will never get anything in your routine done. When you begin, you have to review your every essential thing you require first and then you can add luxuries as you go on.

Third vital thing is to break off – simply let go. Ability to let loose helps you relax and unwind especially after exercises. This helps you get a better perspective on routines at hand.

Freshen up your new day

Grab your tea and hit the track. Morning fitness is mandatory -- try jogging. If you not up to it, get moving with a slow walk. It refreshes and brightens up your day. 
Changing your dress and mixing it up with your footwear will bring in change. Many people find that doing the same thing is tedious and boring -- any small change makes a world of difference. 

Morning exercises helps to "awaken" the muscles and nerves and recreates energy flow lines that spark freshness. Try doing some simple stretches and push ups to begin with. It will keep you fresh all day long. Here is to your new day.

Morning deliriousness and effects of red light of dawn

People everywhere, some run some walk some talk...talk? No they do not! Definitely. It takes some time and lots of coffee to get that faculty going. Unless you encounter a dog. 


Man  is supreme animal especially in the morning

Dogs take after people. They like to guide people around in the morning...the moving eye! Of course,
Chinese claim that this moving eye is their invention, though how dogs understand Chinese is mind boggling. 




Make your own breaks in the morning

If you understand Chinese and then you respect a Chinaman. They are invaluable because they provide the break in an otherwise monotonous morning. Quite so! It is unusual to see a Chinaman in a South Indian state. 

Just as you could not see people laughing at this early hour. Wait, there is a group of people who are laughing on the beach. Why? You must wait around to find out. 


Temporary insanity is expectable

Morning deliriousness is contagious. It makes people laugh and it makes them run. And when the red light disappears everything returns to normal. 

People begin to talk normally and walk normally. It is nothing to worry about.

Commonwealth Games and US Open Mornings are wonderful again with madness

Do you ever feel light like a bird in the sky? Do you feel tensions of daily life pressing on all sides? Well, here we are in between the Commonwealth Games and the US Open...the time of our life when we are not troubled by either. Isn't it wonderful?

You suddenly do not have to worry whether India is losing its hockey match or whether your badminton team is not performing at its best. You do not have to count the medals and golds and you do not have to worry about the next day you do not have to travel to Coorg to get your coffee ---  it is going to be wonderful.

Suddenly the cup of coffee is much sweeter and there is a breeze in the trees. Never noticed it before and I have time for my exercises. I might even go for a run or sit in the garden watching bees pollinating flowers or go surf the Internet.



So, I discovered the eight wonder of the world, a great new silence, wonderful and complete in its absence
of tension and disturbances. It is another wonderful morning. It will last for a few more days and then US Opens will begin. Care to sing in the morning merriment or do you love this kind of morning madness? Come pull up a chair.

Keeping up with the times and Commonwealth Games

Every event takes time from our schedule

There is too much happening around us. If it is Commonwealth Games today, tomorrow it is the Nationals.

Then we have the World Chess championship and suddenly there is no time left. Everything takes up time -- even thinking about the Chess Championships suddenly takes up hours of my time. Moreover, everything requires something I do not have.

Put the stop on shopping

The thing is shopping never stops. If you hit the bazaar, there  is nothing to stop you -- except an empty purse. For this, I devised a technique. Never buy more than one "luxury" item. By luxury I mean those things I could live without, but would be happier with. So, how does one choose? One has to jot down things one would want. This work is time consuming but it has to be done.

Things I would like to have

And ultimately, I made up this list of desirable things.
  • Cool cotton T-shirts
  • Books from the flea market
  • Hiking sandals
  • Pair of sunglasses

Making the decision

T-shirts are indispensable. They are the camel in the desert of summer, one cannot go anywhere without them. Whereas spending a cool two or three hours with a book is something soporific...cannot let go of that idea. You need some place to hike and so I discarded that right away. Now, sunglasses make me look cool. I think I will buy those sunglasses. I kept reconsidering my decisions. It was morning still and things were looking bright.

there are hills all around, there are some wild passages by the river and of course there is a wild unexplored country between this town and the next.

Forgive me, I have to go shopping for some new sandals.

Perk up Your Mornings: Exercise and Good Food

Good food and exercise is necessary for keeping your health in prime condition. Often, people tend to take a break leading to disruptions in the development of a healthy body. People who persist are in top condition and sing their way through in the morning.




Essential requirements

For healthy metabolic activity, one must eat at least 2534 calories every day. Barbecue rum ribs, apple mincemeat pie or apple gingerbread cobbler are all good hearty meal items.
                            a) Barbecue rum ribs: This is a traditional ribs barbecue with special dressing that make the ribs extraordinary.  In addition to the ribs you need:
          1. Crushed garlic
          2. Brown sugar
          3.  Soy sauce, chili sauce and ketchup
          4. Pepper and Worcestershire sauce
          5. Dark rum 
          6. Dry mustard

Start the barbecue and prepare the marinade. Baste the ribs with the marinade over slow heat.
                               b) Gingerbread apple cobbler: This is a lovely dessert that you can prepare within an hour. You will require:
          1. Sugar
          2. Egg, buttermilk, molasses, oil
          3.  Apples
          4. Brown sugar
          5. Cornstarch
          6. baking soda, baking powder
          7. Ginger
          8. Flour and egg
First cook the apples. Beat together egg, milk, sugar, oil and molasses. Rest of the ingredients you combine and sift into this milk--egg mixture. Stir slightly and pour over apple. Bake it until done. Top it with nuts.

Exercise in the morning

Exercises form a vital part of the health of a person. It improves rate of metabolism aids digestion and helps to burn up calories. Getting rid of calories in this manner helps your body deal with excess fats.best exercise is jogging as this does not strain your body too much. If you are too old or weak to jog, then you must walk. Half an hour each day is enough to keep you brimming with health and vigor. Most of all maintain your sense of humor. It makes everything worthwhile.
