Review of Mastram Movie

Mastram is a movie for someone totally bored. Theme is an oft-repeated one – that of an aspiring artist trying to hit big time. Like its namesake Mastram books, storyline here follows erotic themes and action helps alleviate the dead senses of those who need refreshing. Though the hero plays the role of an educated man with good writing skills – at least at writing erotica, the movie portrays

him as “not so successful person” in his life. His wife and his best friend make out just as in the plots of his stories. The porn writer and his life though have many humorous moments all well brought out in this film. Song Achko Machko by Yo Yo Honey Singh is very lively.

Cast includes Rahul Bagga, Vinodh Naharadih, Aakash Dahiya, Ishtiyaq Khan and Aishwarya Mehta. Akhilesh Jaiswal has directed the movie. Release date is 9 May 2014. Release is under Bohra Bros Pvt Ltd – Jar Pictures banner.
